Ag Fact Monday!!

Hi! Happy June!! How was your Memorial Day holiday? Did you get to go out to the lake and have a little outdoor fun?! Today’s fact is a little closer to home for me and is about Beef Empire Days!!

On Wednesday May 30^th we start the live show for the 44^th annual Beef Empire Days celebration in Garden City, Kan. It is a salute to our pioneers and the cattle feeding industry. It is widely used to look at where we are in the beef industry and what the future holds for us. There are nearly 30 events for a 2 week period. They include: The live show, carcass show, ranch rodeo, and parade, cattle working contest, steak cook-out, poker runs and an award banquet.
