Hi! How was the first week of June for everyone? I know that everyone has been getting their wheat harvest on so this week I have a fun wheat fact for you!
Kansas is the largest wheat producer in the United States. There are around 2.4 billion bushels of wheat grown each year in the United States.

About Kansas State University-Sigma Alpha, Alpha Omega
Sigma Alpha is a professional agriculture sorority on the Kansas State University campus. Women apart of Sigma Alpha have a strong passion for agriculture, and wish to develop skills to help contribute to the industry. This blog is a tool to communicate and reach out to Sigma Alpha alumni, other Sigma Alpa Chapters, future Sigma Alpha members, and those interested in agricultural topics.
The objective of this sorority shall be to promote its members in all facets of agriculture and to strengthen the bonds of friendship among them. It is the purpose of the members to strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service, and to further the development of excellence in women pursuing careers in agriculture.
