Animal Science and Industry Pre – Veterinary Medicine
This summer Tara is staying in Manhattan and taking classes at K-State while also holding her job at the vet school for the small animal and blood donor ward’s.
Tara will also be working on preparing for the GRE exam as well as her vet school application. She also plans to complete her Ag Scholar Research Project with Dr.Faris. This project entails seeing how acidifiers and water pH effect the occurrences of urolithiasis in male castrated goats. The project goal is to benefit the show goat industry.
In her free time this summer Tara plans to volunteer at the T. Russell Reitz Animal Shelter and enjoy the great outdoors!
