Making the Most of Her Last Summer Home!

This summer Sammi moved home to Gardner to work in her family’s pharmacy.

Not only is Sammi working this summer but she is also taking a Biology course through Johnson County Community College (JCCC). Sammi is also gaining some hands on experience by shadowing a couple of veterinarians in her area.

She is able to watch and learn about different surgeries as well as surgical procedures as well as learning about some diseases that are common with the small animal side of veterinary medicine.

Summer of 2012 will be Samantha’s last summer at home she then will be living year round in Manhattan. Sammi loves being at home spending time with old friends and family but she is looking forward to being back in Manhattan and seeing everyone in August.
