The 7th annual Tough Enough To Wear Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Week hosted by Kansas State University’s Collegiate Cattlewomen and Sigma Alpha Professional Agriculture Sorority will be held February 18-22, 2013.
Tough Enough To Wear Pink week will conclude at the Friday night, “Tough Enough To Wear Pink Performance” of the K-State Intercollegiate Rodeo. This annual campaign raises funds for the Mid-Kansas Susan G. Komen. Last year the ladies of Collegiate Cattlewomen and Sigma Alpha raised over $13,000.
This year’s slogan is “Give Cancer the Boot.” T-shirts with this slogan will be sold in the K-State Student Union from 9-3 during the week of our campaign and at the rodeo on Friday night. In addition to this, there will be a FREE BBQ on Weber Lawn at the K-State – Manhattan campus from 11am-1:30pm on Monday, February 18th. T-shirts will also be available at this event, as well as being able to order you shirt online at http://ksutetwp.weebly.com
All proceeds will go toward breast cancer research. Donations of all kinds are greatly appreciated and can be given via our website, at one of our events or by contacting a member of our committee.
